Skylon Tower Observation Deck
The 236 metre tower with the widest aerial view of both falls, the gorge and the lake beyond.
Glass elevators on the outside of the tower carry you 236 metres up to an indoor and outdoor observation deck. From the top you get the whole picture: both the American and Horseshoe Falls, the gorge below, and on a clear day the Toronto skyline far across Lake Ontario.
Plan it. The view is best in daylight for the layout and after dark for the illumination. The same tower holds a revolving dining room, so you can combine the view with a meal. Tickets to the deck are often discounted if you dine.
