Journey Behind the Falls
Tunnels and a viewing deck that put you right beside the falling sheet of Horseshoe Falls.
An elevator drops you into tunnels cut through the rock behind Horseshoe Falls, opening onto two portals that look directly into the back of the cascade, plus a lower observation deck beside the plunging water.
Plan it. Go early to beat the lines, since the tunnels are narrow and back up at midday. It is stroller friendly and a good rainy day choice. The lower deck gets misty, so expect a light soaking in summer when the flow is highest.
